Reviews

Once again its review time at work for Luke, which got me to thinking as mom/wife how are we reviewed? Is it by the time you spend with your family, how clean the house is, or the overall happiness and quality of our family's lives because of the things that we do on a day to day basics? As I started to think more on this I wondered, would I take offense if I had Luke give an annual review, and didn't like the out come? Which got me thinking even more would I change the way that I do my daily job( mom, cook, cleaning lady, etc.) if I was being paid? Would my attitude towards things be different, and why would they be different. After some thought I came to the conclusion that every kiss I get whether it's from one of the kids or Luke is a thank you, and when they say dinner was good that is a form of them giving me a review( I might need to rethink the meals that never get a good job) I have also come to the conclusion that when Morgans behavior leaves a little to be desired, this is another form of a review. After lots of thought I came to the conclusion that my kids are happy, at the end of the day everything seams to get done, and I can say with out a doubt I love my life and wouldn't change what I do for a "living" I think that my family happiness is the best review a mom/wife can ever have.

I saw a great bumper sticker the other day:

You don't work "full time" until you are a Mom!

So true, and I would give you "exceeds expectations" on your mommy review!

Blessings, K~
